Holistic Counsellor (BA.process) & Mind-Body Practitioner

Hi, I’m Sara —and I’m so glad you’re here.

I created this space to offer the kind of support I needed but couldn’t find—real, flexible, and sustainable.

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person, I know what it’s like to feel unsupported, misunderstood, or expected to change in order to be helped. Thats why I wholeheartedly believe in meeting people where they are.

My intention is to hold space for people who want to understand themselves more deeply, move through what’s keeping them stuck, and find clarity in their own way.

What I offer reflects everything I’ve committed myself to—academically, professionally, and personally. I’ve seen the impact that mindful self-awareness, education and embodied exploration can have when it comes to personal growth. And this integration of insight and lived experience is woven into everything I share.

Holistic Counselling

I offer counselling as a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), providing meaningful support that adapts to your experience, capacity and pace.

Whether you’re navigating internal overwhelm, relationship patterns, or trying to understand yourself in a world that hasn’t always made space for you—you’ll be met with compassion, curiosity and professional integrity.

My current research is focused on nervous system regulation, anxiety and “high-functioning” ASD/ADHD, with an emphasis on how mindfulness-based practices can support meaningful, empowered progress.

    • Anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional regulation

    • Sensory sensitivity and nervous system balance

    • Burnout, identity fatigue, and self-trust

    • People-pleasing, masking and perfectionism

    • Neurodivergent experiences (including late-diagnosed ASD/ADHD)

    • Boundaries, communication and relational patterns

    • Rebuilding self-trust, confidence and personal clariity

    • Purpose and values-aligned decision-making

  • I work with you in a way that feels safe, considered, collaborative, and empowering—supporting you to navigate your own journey with the right tools and insight for you.

There’s no pressure to arrive with perfect clarity—just a willingness to explore.

I integrate a blend of evidence-based methods, including:

    • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    • Mindfulness-Based Techniques

    • Expressive Therapies

Mind-Body Practices

I am dedicated to creating an inclusive space rooted in unity, authenticity, and understanding. This part of my work honours the interconnectedness between mind and body, and how deeply supportive these quiet practices can be in helping you return to yourself, particularly when words just aren’t enough.

To me, these practices are not about doing more—they’re about softening into yourself, reconnecting with your body, regulating your nervous system, and finding your own flow.

Through lived experience, study, and exploration, I’ve come to understand that one modality alone cannot “heal all wounds.” When we combine thinking with feeling and moving with being, we open pathways that can take us deeper than we imagined. These paths help us move through barriers we didn’t know were there and guide us toward a more integrated and compassionate understanding of ourselves and others.

  • My approach to mindful movement focuses on presence, accessibility, and nervous system awareness.

Through these practices, I intentionally guide you in a way that encourages engagement of both the body and mind to open space for self-discovery, curiosity, release, flow, and restoration.

  • I believe energetic work isn’t about solving—it’s about meeting what’s already there with compassion.

These practices are always offered with sensory sensitivity in mind.

    Reiki

Reiki is a modality that supports the release of stagnant energy and encourages the natural flow of life force energy throughout the body. It can help regulate the nervous system, ease tension, and create space for balance and clarity.

    The Crystal Singing Bowls

When played intuitively, the crystal singing bowls produce sound waves that naturally resonate with the body, encouraging balance and regulation on a physical and energetic level.

The bowls I use are tuned to 432 Hz—a frequency said to align with the earth’s natural vibration to offer a clearer, more balanced sound that is both pleasant and immersive.

  • My meditation style is simplistically anchored in present moment awareness.

Meditation invites you to slow down, turn inward, and tune into what’s happening beneath the surface. Through breath and quiet observation, it becomes a practice of self-connection—supporting focus, clearer thought processing, emotional ease, and a greater sense of internal balance.
